Digital creator and fashion designer Sammy Kioko yesterdy announced that he was selling his only car to cater for his friend’s medical care. This morning, Sammy’s friend, Tom Daktari has posted an Instagram video where he and Sammy are in the hospital while an ambulance carry who is assumed to be Maureen. Why Sacrifice For Maureen?
Yesterday after Sammy Kioko announced that he was selling his car to take Maureen to hospital, many netizens were concerned. They wondered why he was helping her when he is going through so much. The truth is Sammy feels responsible for Maureen’s downfall especially financially because that factor hinders her from finding the right medical care. Sammy and Maureen worked on the Machakos County tender which saw them exhausting all their resources. Indeed, they borrowed undisclosed amount of money to complete the tender which was expected to yield ksh.19 million.
The Suffering
Sammy and Maureen have endured so much. Other than the financial constraints, Maureen also developed health issues. After the tender completion, Maureen became pregnant and was to deliver well until she developed complications. She moved to and from the hospital during her pregnancy. She finally gave birth through CS but was diagnosed with fibroids. Fibroids are blood growths that makes women bleed continously and if not treated could lead to death. The bleeding comes with serious pain that can make someone mad.

The Plea Continues
Having sold his only car, Sammy Kioko is left with nothing. His businesses have closed down in the two year period they have been servicing the loan while demanding for payment from the county government. Sammy and Maureen still are still demanding for payment. The netizens now wish the governor would listen to Sammy and pay even a half. According to Sammy, the payment of this tender cannot help them recover their businesses at this point. They have spent more than the tender can pay.
